This is the third paper model I made... first was the Aliens Dropship (made in raw 2D, with no 3D building, entirely done with Deluxe Paint and Painter,
built when the computers got or EGA or VGA, XMS memories of 512Mb and you have only a dotmatrix printer... good old printer for paper models as
it pounched the paper making natural folding lines everywhere!... a bad model wich I was able to sell to an important franchise of comic shops here in
Spain, owned by an important spanish musician), my second model is much more new than that crappy stuff... you probably already know it, the UD12 Chickenhawk.
Leaving the preface apart you better go straight to the instuctions booklet where you can find more background of the model, more images and how to
build it properly.
As you can see, this paper model is a combat (utility) hovercraft, swift and easy to build. In this page you'll find the instructions as well as any related
document, UCM downloads and the model in the more common PDF format.
Please remember that I'm glad to receive feedback about my works, as well as suggestions, critics and whatever you have to say... or give! I love donations too! XD
so don't be shy, you have a link to my email in the upper bar.
A brief note about UCM format:
UCM is used to display paper models and have the amazing and usefull property to change color schemes with just a pair of
clicks, so you can adapt completely the color of the model to your owh wishes , and you can put them decals too as easily, and
with a little photoshop knowledge even redefine color zones, textures and much more, the limit is your imagination and skill.
The Walrus uses UCM version 2 (nor the version 3 wich is the last one) becouse it is better under muy point of view,
it has less color layers than version 3 but has many more posibilities melting layers and aplying decals.
In the creator/owner's page,
http://www.ebblesminiatures.com you can find some free models for that format, information and tutorials about
using UCM and many more in the forums (full of good and active people).
Keep in mind that you'll need UCM viewer version 2 to view the UCM files. You can
download it in the creator's web site:
HERE.
Use this format instead of PDF as it is best in quality and versatility, you can change colors, decals and much much more
